Job Description

Summary:

Maintains stock of necessary beverages and other related bar supplies. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and Stratosphere policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Deliver exceptional guest service as defined by Stratosphere Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors and line equipment Receive, issue and keep necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies Assist bartenders with mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures Refill and stock garnishes and glassware Follow cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures Follow cash and comp procedures Maintain appropriate sound and music levels as designated by management Maintain appropriate television programming as designated by management Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

At least one year previous apprentice bartender experience within the past 3 years preferred At least six months previous apprentice bartender experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must have basic knowledge of common drink recipes within the industry Ability to handle a cash bank Excellent communication and guest service skills required Ability to communicate effectively in English High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

Walking, standing or stooping (75% of the time) Ability to communicate via radios Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 75 lbs. Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical)
