Aventon, a leading player in the electric bicycle and retail industry, is seeking an experienced and innovative Mobile App Product Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development, product management, and user experience design, with a keen understanding of market trends and customer needs. The Mobile App Product Manager will be responsible for driving the development, launch, and ongoing improvement of Aventon\'s mobile app, ensuring it aligns with the company\'s strategic objectives and delivers an exceptional user experience.

The Role

  • Develop and execute a mobile app product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to define product requirements and ensure successful product launches.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics, using data to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Gather and incorporate user feedback through user testing, surveys, and other channels to optimize the app\'s user experience and functionality.
  • Manage the app development process, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of new features and enhancements.
  • Communicate product updates and releases to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth rollout and adoption.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, release notes, and product roadmaps.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, tools, and best practices in mobile app development and product management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support promotional activities, app store optimization, and customer engagement strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile app product management, preferably in the electric bicycle, retail, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data to drive product strategy and improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex information clearly.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, product management tools, and project management software.
  • Familiarity with app store optimization (ASO) strategies and mobile app marketing techniques.
  • Passion for creating outstanding user experiences and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
