Overview

The Video Production Manager for Anthropologie Group will report into the Sr. Art Director with direct connection to production and operations teams. They will be responsible for managing all video projects from start to finish \xe2\x80\x93 organizing requests from creative, merchandising, marketing, and social teams, pre-production (building estimates, equipment rentals, freelancer outreach, invoices, etc.), and post-production (timelines, freelancer outreach, usage rights, expenses, final deliveries, etc.) \xe2\x80\x93 across all consumer facing collateral coming out of the Creative Department. This role will support day-to-day operational needs to ensure efficient workflow of the creative team and be the go-to liaison for all video requests. Above all, they must be a team player that treats others with respect, kindness, and humility.

Responsibilities

  • Own creative video project schedules from start to finish.
  • Intake briefs from creative, production, and marketing \xe2\x80\x93 make sure all information is clear, direct and accurate.
  • Oversee timelines and workload for video team and their partners \xe2\x80\x93 digital designers, copywriters, and freelancers. Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and help establish realistic expectations in a high-pace, ever-changing environment.
  • Improve pre-production, production and approval processes involving the video team and their partners to create efficiency, and on-time delivery of assets.
  • Manage workload for video team across multiple brands \xe2\x80\x93 Anthropologie, AnthroLiving, Anthropologie Weddings, and Terrain.
  • Facilitate communication between video team, production, marketing, design and copywriting to ensure that all creative content lives up to high creative standards, while supporting business strategies.
  • Lead weekly meetings to make sure all teams are aligned and have the ability to answer questions.
  • Keep working \xe2\x80\x9cNotion\xe2\x80\x9d project tracker/calendar up to date at all times.
  • Build preliminary video estimates, for production team. Assist with monthly expense reporting for Sr. Video Art Director.
  • Book freelance talent \xe2\x80\x93 DP, AC, Gaffers, Grips, PA, Editors, Animators, Composers \xe2\x80\x93 and help cultivate new talent when needed.
  • Lead communication between Equipment houses, freelancers, and video team in pre-production and make sure the teams have all equipment, film, props, etc. they need on time.
  • Support video team with post-production needs \xe2\x80\x93 managing timelines, communication with freelancers, and distribution of final assets.
  • Support video team with small editing needs such as overlays of graphics, re-sizing etc.
Qualifications + Skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience producing/managing video projects, ideally in a fashion or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of video timelines, processes, work flow, and equipment.
  • Experience working with video talent
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal \xe2\x80\x93 ability to negotiate and compromise with a smile.
  • Creative problem-solver with ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience and willingness to collaborate with many different personality types. Team player who is willing to provide assistance whenever and wherever needed.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excitement to contribute to a collaborative, creative and inclusive learning environment.
  • Experience with \xe2\x80\x9cNotion\xe2\x80\x9d or other project tracker.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (INDD, PS, PR, AE, Media Encoder) is a plus.
