Job Description




Job Purpose
Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an experienced Analyst, USG Compliance in any of our AEC U.S. offices (Salt Lake City, UT, Boerne, TX, or Rochester, NH) to support the USG Compliance team in fulfilling and maintaining compliance with regulations related to U.S. Government contracts and agreements at AEC.

  • Support compliance with the development of indirect and direct rates for pricing and Estimates at Completion (EAC).
  • Support Finance and Accounting with various analyses of actual indirect rates.
  • Assist with preparation and analysis of annual required submissions to the Government.
  • Support the USG Compliance team when interfacing with Government agencies such as Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
  • Utilize multiple financial and reporting systems to perform analytics/reconciliations.
  • Assist with internal floor checks.
  • Assist USG Compliance during reviews of our business systems.
  • Conduct cost scrubs to support indirect rates.
  • Support as required in development and maintenance of compliance programs and frameworks including business systems, contract management, and other regulatory requirements
Supervisory responsibility: No.
Supervisors are responsible for overseeing their work group including but not limited to: formal evaluations/performance management as set out by the organization, recruitment and developing

Experience/Education/Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years of experience in U.S. Government contracting and accounting principles/regulations. Or;
  • 4-5 years of experience in a financial analysis or accounting position
  • Familiarity with relevant Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) cost principles, and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations Supplement (DFARS) is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Practiced oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel and Power BI.
  • Proficiency with SAP a plus
Working Conditions
Office environment, duties performed indoors, moderate to quiet noise and comfortable temperatures. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental condition levels. Ability to be available as business situations require. Some may be able to do part of their work remotely. Travel may be required up to 5-10%.
