Job Description
Elmwood Assisted Living is currently hiring a part-time Patient Transport Driver!
We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual with a good driving record to join our team!!
:
Primary responsibilities include transporting patients, who are usually elderly or disabled, to their medical appointments in a safe and timely manner. Schedule and coordinate appointments with medical facilities and offices. Inspect the vehicle before each shift, checking the fuel, oil, transmission fluid, wiper fluid, and coolant, and reporting any needed repairs. Check the first aid and medical supplies inventory levels before each shift and ensure the vehicle is well-stocked. Assist patients into the van. Maintain daily driving log.
Essential Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License Safe driving record Ability to transport physically impaired, including persons in wheelchairs. Interpersonal skills necessary to work with residents and office staff. Ambulette experience preferred
