Our Amazon PPC Specialist is a critical contributor to the team and will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing and analyzing paid and organic search within Amazon. The position is the key to future growth and will be responsible for the top-to-bottom coordination of all of our pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns within Amazon Seller Central. The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of paid search. There is a family dynamic at The Pond Guy that extends to the customer as we strive to give them the highest quality service possible. Remote & Onsite Position
Our Amazon PPC Specialist role is a blended position. There is availability to work remote on days your onsite presence is not required. Remote employees must be able to meet the standards of The Pond Guy\'s telecommuting policy which include internet speeds and workspace requirements. Responsibilities
Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include.
  • Managing and optimizing sponsored product campaigns in Amazon\'s Seller Central platform
  • Conducting keyword research and selecting appropriate keywords for campaigns
  • Setting up and organizing product targeting for campaigns
  • Analyzing and interpreting campaign performance data and making recommendations for improvements
  • Implementing A/B testing on ad copy, targeting, and other elements of campaigns
  • Collaborating with the brand\'s marketing and sales teams to align PPC strategy with overall business goals
  • Keeping up to date with Amazon\'s advertising policies and best practices
  • Providing regular reports on campaign performance and ROI
  • Identifying and troubleshooting issues with campaigns
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and new advertising features and tools on Amazon
Don\'t know about ponds? That\'s ok! You\'ll be trained to be proficient in your job. We utilize an interactive combination of hands-on and visual training to ensure everyone has a full understanding of The Pond Guy\'s proactive approach to pond management. Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:
  • Fluency in Amazon Sponsored Products, Brand and Display Advertising
  • 2+ years of experience managing paid search programs
  • Requires hands-on knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint
  • Experience with Walmart/Ebay PPC Advertising a plus but not required
  • Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with web analytical tools and interfaces
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results
  • A self-motivated individual; a good team player
  • Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
This position requires manual dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk and looking at a computer screen for typing for long periods of time. In addition, portions of the training require shadowing other departments that may require physical activity including lifting 25-35 pounds and standing for long periods of time. We need an Amazon PPC Specialist that has a positive attitude and the words "can\'t" and "impossible" are not a part of your vocabulary. The capacity to switch quickly from one task to the next will be an important part of your success in this role. You\'ll have the ability to learn quickly and retain a large amount of information and offer exceptional customer service. This person should continually add value to the organization beyond their day-to-day tasks. Availability
You must be available to work between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday with the occasional evening or Saturday for projects that must be done outside of normal business hours. Compensation
