Summary of Job Duties: This position works under the supervision of the Director of Student Services and is responsible for assisting students with resume preparation, developing interview skills, and providing job placement assistance for graduates. Will build working relationships and maintain contact with prospective employers and employment agencies. Will keep in close contact with graduates, both employed and unemployed, and maintain permanent student records. Will build and maintain a job placement/tracking website.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in related field
  • Must have the ability to organize information and create and deliver effective presentations
  • Must communicate effectively, both orally and in written form
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and establish strong relationships with students, co-workers, and employer partners
  • Must have the ability to understand and follow oral and written direction
  • Must be able to maintain student and employer confidentiality
  • Must have dependable transportation, a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, and be able to travel between campuses
