:
  • To support the CHS facility in the pursuit of Ramp Excellence.
  • Embracing a culture of safety and security in a facility.
  • Efficient and meets high quality standards through continuous improvement and modernization.
  • Marshals inbound aircraft into ramp area of assigned gate.
  • Load and unload unit load devices (ULD\xe2\x80\x99s) containing mail and freight from aircraft.
  • Prepare and/or operate ground support equipment (GSE) for safe operation in preparation for aircraft arrival/departure.
  • May provide potable water, lavatory, and cleaning services to aircraft upon request.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.



Facility Operations:
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Maintain Ramp procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe operational condition.



Operations/Quality:
  • Oversee the processes in the area of responsibility.
  • Following operational standards (OPS) and KPI expectations.
  • Improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost through continuous improvement methods.
  • Maintain compliance to facility certification requirements and government policies.



Skills/Experience/qualifications:
  • Expertise in Ramp operations.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to help achieve team goals.
  • Lift and move up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills.



Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License and Social Security Card.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be flexible with schedule, including weekends and holidays.
