WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for a Facilities Project Coordinator who thrives in working with multiple cross-functional teams and has a general understanding of facilities infrastructure and project engineering. This role is very broad in its responsibilities. They will engage engineering teams, work within defined infrastructure and operations specifications, coordinate communications, coordinate multiple cross-functional projects while working with project and program managers, delegate project requests, assist in resource management and reporting, coordinate and lead team meetings and implement miscellaneous small projects and administrative department tasks \xe2\x80\x93 just to name a few. They will have the opportunity to work alongside truly dedicated teams including business partners, external vendors, varied technology functions, and multiple geographies - working together to build a collaborative, innovative, and successful team! To make it clear, we\'re not looking for just anyone. We\'re looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly proven these skills:
  • Coordinate work within project teams that can range from outside vendors, production leaders, engineers, Nike technology, as well as additional business partners.
  • Deliver scheduling at the task level, with overall accountability at the project level.
  • Handle budgets \xe2\x80\x93 including initial estimation, tracking of actuals, and understanding the deviations. Process purchase orders and goods receipts.
  • Manage small-scale construction and renovation projects that coordinate multiple workstreams with strict milestones.
  • Work with Audio Visual (AV) integrators and assist project managers with project schedules with strict milestones.
  • Proactive approach and communicate status to partners effectively, with an emphasis on maintaining alignment with core project sponsors.
  • Contract and vendor coordination: build partnerships across organizational, departmental, and geographical boundaries.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? If this is you, you will develop and execute communication plans (both internal and external) develop internal process standards while working with cross-functional teams, help develop and maintain Reporting and Resource Management Systems, assist the Facilities Manager in annual Standing Purchase Order creation and management, assist in project identification & planning, engage with pool of contractors, consultants and suppliers and assist in contract negotiations where applicable, promote energy conservation and adhere to AIR MI Sustainability efforts and all legal and procurement guidelines for contracts, work order and purchase requests. WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH? You will be reporting directly to the local Facilities Manager in St. Charles and supporting the Facilities Project Managers, Facilities Operations Team, Global Program/Vendor Manager and Team and Global Facilities Director and outside vendors. You will also be collaborating with AIR MI Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
  • Bachelor/Master\'s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 years+ experience in project management (or) 2 years+ experience in project coordination.
  • Strong end to end project management skills, shepherding an entire project from kick off to completion.
  • Ability to lead project meetings and connect with stakeholders within outlined phase gates.
  • Robust computer technical knowledge; including but not limited to, Microsoft Office Product Suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Office)
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
