Job Summary
This is a twelve month position directing a wide range of producer marketing activities in Kentucky supporting the Center for Crop Diversification and the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) programs in Kentucky. The Center is managed as a collaboration between the Departments of Horticulture an Ag Economics.
The individual is expected to develop extension outreach and educational programs for producers, county agents, and ag industry professionals. This person will coordinate webinars, design electronic support materials, and assist in the outreach efforts of the Center regionally. The person in this position will assist in administering industry surveys, and providing help with marketing and economic analysis. Expertise in data management (Excel, Access, and other data tools) and web design/support will be highly valued.
This person will also have responsibility to execute logistics of UK SARE grants program. This would include organizing and assisting with the KY SARE Advisory Council Meetings.
