Buffalo High School is looking for a passionate dedicated Ag. Educator for the 2026-2027 school year. BHS is a 300+ student school that sits at the base of the Bighorn Mountains. The Buffalo Community is primarily driven by the agriculture economy that consists of Livestock and Forage Production. The program is a one Ag. Teacher program with the option for an assistant FFA Advisor. The BHS program comes with a complete and very comprehensive program with ample resources which include:
State of the art Metal Fabrication Lab
30+ acres of irrigatable Ag. Land
Agriculture Barn with a teaching Lab
16X32 Greenhouse
School Orchard
Additionally the program has outside connections and resources in the community with connections to many of the local producers and employers. The program support from administration is strong with a past Ag. Educator as the BHS Principal and the Superintendent being a past CTE teacher. In addition to Administration support the Buffalo FFA Program has a strong FFA Alumni for supporting all the needs of the program.
Base Salary 49,000 (increase with experience or masters degree)
FFA Stipend 11,835
