C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a full-time Ag Equipment Product Specialist. This individual will have responsibility for growing and sharing product knowledge of all products used for large ag, mid hay and forage production in a designated area of responsibility. Products included in this segment are 5-Series and larger tractors, combines, planters, air seeders, sprayers, round and square balers, mower conditioners, windrowers, hay rakes, forage harvesters, and other equipment used in agricultural production. They will also lead demo and training strategies to help our sales teams achieve market share and sales goals. The individual in this position may live near any of our South Dakota, Minnesota or Iowa ag store locations.

Essential Duties:

• Provide product education to sales teams throughout defined area of responsibility
• Assist regional sales teams with effective customer demonstration plans
• Create sales and customer confidence around equipment and technology options during buying process
• Develop and conduct consistent and effective on-site and online training
• Collaborate with our marketing department to develop consistent and credible product promotions that lead to retail sales with C & B customers

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills along with working well with team
• Strong presentation and computer skills
• Confidence with technology
• Strong organizational skills needed
• Above average competency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel regularly to fulfill job duties
• Agricultural equipment knowledge/experience
• Sales department experience or background working in a sales department for 5+ years preferred
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record
