Duties
Develop and implement engaging after-school programs aligned with educational standards and community needs.
Lead a team of instructors, volunteers, and staff to deliver high-quality activities that promote academic achievement, social skills, and personal growth.
Coordinate schedules, resources, and facilities to ensure smooth daily operations of the program.
Foster a safe and welcoming environment by enforcing policies and supervising student behavior.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and community organizations to enhance program participation and support services.
Monitor program effectiveness through assessments, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage program budgets, supplies, and equipment efficiently while adhering to organizational policies.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, licensing requirements, and educational standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, or a related field; higher education teaching experience is highly desirable.
Proven experience in education administration or managing youth programs within a school or community setting.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering collaboration and motivation.
Experience working directly with students of diverse backgrounds and needs; familiarity with teaching methodologies is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, staff, and community partners.
Knowledge of safety protocols and licensing standards relevant to after-school programming.
