Job Duties & Expectations
As a Rockstar Academy Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and engaging students in a safe, structured, and positive afterschool environment.
Planning and facilitating age-appropriate activities that are both fun and educational, ensuring students continue to meet their academic goals.
Supporting homework time, offering academic assistance, and encouraging positive study habits.
Creating enrichment opportunities through arts, sports, STEM, and social activities.
Promoting positive behavior, teamwork, and respect among each other.
Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding student needs.
Maintaining accurate attendance and student records.
Upholding all school policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.
Assisting in Elementary after school programs.
Expectations
Commitment to the program schedule (Monday - Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.).
Active participation in fostering an environment that is engaging, nurturing, and academically supportive.
Collaboration with staff to continuously enhance the quality of the program.
Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism at all times.

This position is an at-will employment opportunity, meaning that The Audubon Elementary School or designee may end the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable law.

Experience
A degree in education or a related field is required; higher education teaching experience is preferred.
Proven experience working with students in an educational or extracurricular setting.
Strong background in education administration with an understanding of program development.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
Ability to create a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
