Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated After Care Worker to provide support and assistance to children in our after school program. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working with children. This role involves working closely with children to foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, supporting their physical, emotional, and educational needs.

Duties

Assist children with daily activities, including play, learning, and social interaction Implement classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies or health concerns Support children with special education needs and adapt activities accordingly Facilitate tutoring sessions or educational activities to enhance learning outcomes Supervise children during recreational activities Maintain a safe and clean environment in daycare, camp, or classroom settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to monitor progress and address individual needs

Requirements

Experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or babysitting roles Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports emotional well-being and growth Passion for working with children and a commitment to their safety and development
Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
