Position Summary
The
Site Coordinator
leads daily operations for a Colorado Academic Accelerator Grant: CO-AAP funded out-of-school program with a focus on
STEM and math enrichment
, youth development, and family engagement. This role builds strong relationships with school staff, supervises program staff and volunteers, ensures program quality, and supports youth academic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain strong partnerships with school administrators, teachers, and families.
Lead and supervise program staff, volunteers, and interns.
Plan and deliver hands-on STEM and math enrichment activities.
Recruit youth and encourage consistent engagement in programming.
Create a safe, positive, inclusive, and fun environment.
Organize monthly family STEM engagement events.
Track attendance, program data, and grant-required reporting.
Transport youth using organizational vehicles (training provided).
Ensure program standards, safety policies, and youth protection protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, STEM fields, or related area
preferred
(equivalent experience considered).
At least
2 years of experience
working with youth in out-of-school time, education, or similar settings.
Proficient computer skills including data entry, word processing, and email. Google Suite preferred.
Demonstrated experience supervising staff or volunteers.
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to plan engaging activities for groups of 6-20+ youth.
Must be
21+
with a
valid driver's license
.
Must be able to pass background checks, drug testing, and complete required certifications (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Mandated Reporter, etc.).
Work Environment
This role is active, energetic, and hands-on. You'll support youth in structured and unstructured environments and work alongside school and Club Staff to create meaningful program experiences.
This position is grant-funded.
Employment in this position is
contingent upon continued grant funding
. The position may be
modified, reduced in hours, or eliminated
if grant funding is decreased or discontinued. Continuation of employment is
not guaranteed
beyond the current grant period (June 2027)
