Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in aesthetic treatments, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all clients. The Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner will work closely with our medical team to deliver exceptional aesthetic services, manage patient assessments, and contribute to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Administer aesthetic treatments, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Perform physical examinations and provide critical care as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems for patient records management, including eClinicalWorks and Athenahealth. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. Educate patients on treatment options, post-care instructions, and overall skin health. Stay current with advancements in aesthetic procedures and best practices. Participate in clinical research initiatives as required. Provide support for patients undergoing various procedures, including IV infusion and pain management.

Qualifications

Valid Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications. Experience with aesthetic laser treatments and injections is preferred. Background in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical terminology is essential. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Epic. Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to perform triage effectively. Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of aesthetics.
