Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic
Aerial Arts Instructor
to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in aerial silks, lyra, or hammock, with a passion for teaching children and teens in a safe, encouraging environment.
Responsibilities:
Teach aerial arts classes for various age groups and levels (beginner-advanced)
Emphasize proper technique, conditioning, and safety
Foster creativity and confidence through performance-based instruction
Collaborate with other faculty for showcases and productions
Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment
Ensure equipment safety and assist with rigging checks as needed
Qualifications:
Experience teaching aerial silks, lyra, or hammock required
Strong understanding of aerial safety protocols and spotting techniques
Previous teaching experience with children and teens preferred
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills
Schedule:
Part-time hours, primarily evenings and weekends, based on program schedule.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience and expertise.
