Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an
Aerial Instructor specializing in Silks and/or Lyra!
In this exhilarating role, you'll inspire and guide students through the art of aerial performance. Your passion for aerial arts will shine as you create a safe, supportive, and energetic environment where students can explore their creativity, build strength, and develop their skills. You'll play an essential part in fostering a love for movement and performance while helping each participant reach new heights -- both literally and artistically!
This position also offers
choreography opportunities
within Trilogy's productions and performance showcases, giving you the chance to bring your creative vision to the stage and collaborate with our talented cast and artistic team.
What You'll Do
Design and deliver engaging aerial classes for students of various ages and skill levels in both
Recreational
and
Elite
programs.
Instruct students on proper techniques for Silks and/or Lyra, emphasizing safety, body awareness, and creative expression.
Create lesson plans that incorporate strength-building, flexibility, choreography, and performance preparation.
Choreograph routines and performance pieces
for showcases, events, and productions as opportunities arise.
Monitor student progress and provide personalized feedback to encourage growth and confidence.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is properly set up and regularly inspected.
Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, creativity, and mutual respect.
Stay informed about current trends, skills, and teaching methods within the aerial arts industry.
Basic Qualifications
Elite-level experience or equivalent training in
Aerial arts, Stunts
, or related fields.
Strong communication skills and a genuine love for teaching children and teens.
Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to create a supportive classroom environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience teaching or performing
Aerial Silks or Lyra.
Background in
choreography, performance arts, or creative movement instruction on a apparatus.
