Adventure Guide (Full-Time)

Seward, NE

Schedule:

Full-time, 35-40 hours per week (weekdays, weekends, and holidays as scheduled)

About the Role

As an Adventure Guide, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Our guides are hands-on caregivers who ensure each dog has a positive experience while staying at our facility. From daily care routines to client updates, Adventure Guides are the heart of our operation.

Responsibilities

Dog Care & Safety

Supervise and interact with dogs of all sizes and temperaments in playgroups and individual care. Feed dogs according to individualized schedules and dietary needs. Administer oral and topical medications as directed. Monitor health, behavior, and well-being, reporting any concerns promptly.

Facility Cleanliness

Clean and sanitize kennels, suites, play areas, and common spaces. Pick up after dogs consistently to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Client Communication

Provide daily updates, including photos and notes, to clients regarding their dog's activities and well-being. Maintain a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude with clients at all times.

Activities & Enrichment

Walk dogs individually or in small groups as scheduled. Bathe dogs as needed, including brushing and light grooming tasks. Facilitate enrichment activities, hikes, and play sessions tailored to each dog's needs.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with fellow guides and management to ensure smooth operations. Follow all safety protocols and facility policies to protect staff, dogs, and clients.
Qualifications

Must be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Prior experience working in animal care (daycare, boarding, veterinary, grooming, or shelter) preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet in an active, outdoor/indoor environment. Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service. Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays.
