Description: Job Title: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Location: Professional Area: Schedule: Shift: Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to provide advanced nursing care to patients across the lifespan. The ARNP will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments to establish medical histories and diagnose health conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to aid in accurate diagnosis.
- Develop and implement treatment plans and interventions based on patient diagnoses and needs.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, as appropriate, following state regulations and medical guidelines.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Provide counseling and guidance on lifestyle changes and self-management of chronic diseases.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
- Communicate effectively and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards for medical record-keeping.
- Stay current with healthcare laws and regulations and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Obtain and maintain appropriate licenses and certifications required by state law.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Advocate for patients\' rights and provide empathetic, patient-centered care.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in nursing (MSN) required.
- National certification as an ARNP (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, etc.) required.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in (State) required.
- Proven experience as an ARNP in a clinical setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining professional development and continuing education.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
- Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
