Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at the Medical Clinic in Wahiawa. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering comprehensive healthcare services, focusing on patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of various health conditions.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians. Manage pain management strategies for patients with acute and chronic conditions. Perform procedures such as spinal taps and utilize neonatal ventilators when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive measures. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems like Epic.

Requirements

Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and protocols. Experience in geriatrics or hospital medicine preferred. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and sterile processing is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
