Qualifications: Master Degree in Community Counseling, Guidance & Counseling, Educational Psychology, Social Work, or related social service field. Professional Licensure or State Mental Health Credentials
Work Schedule: 12months, Monday-Friday
Salary: As established by Region IV Mental Health Services in accordance with current salary scale
12 month employees should maintain 6 direct billable contact hours daily
Provide individual therapy as medically necessary per individual receiving services
Provide family therapy as medically necessary per individual, but monthly contact required
Provide group therapy as needed
Consult with teachers and parents a minimum of one time monthly
Maintain cwrent documentation of services in clinical records
Complete all paperwork as scheduled
Adhere to all agency and program requirements
Participate in all staff and agency meetings, to include treatment team meetings
Be punctual while perf01ming all duties
Work collaboratively with other mental health staff
Adhere to specific policies and procedures mandated by schools
Establish a positive professional rapport with administrative, instructional, and support staff in assigned
schools
Take initiative to research new and improved treatment methods
Adhere to American Counselor Association's Code of Ethics
Attend workshops as required which may include overnight stay
Provide in-service training to staff on information obtained from workshop
Complete all training requirements
Possess the ability to work independently and readily adapt to change
Adhere to agency dress code and demonstrate professional appearance
Participate in quality assurance program
Adhere to any duties directed by the Executive, Clinical Director, and/or County Coordinator
