Overview

Provides clinical and administrative supervision to adult services staff while supporting the Adult Services Director. This licensed mental health professional maintains a reduced clinical caseload while ensuring staff compliance with DMH standards and agency policies. The role involves reviewing clinical documentation, monitoring service delivery metrics, participating in program development, and facilitating clinical staff meetings.

Responsibilities

Directly supervises Adult Outpatient therapists while supporting the Adult Services Director's overall oversight of Adult Outpatient Services. Maintains a reduced clinical caseload while fulfilling supervisory responsibilities. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to Adult Outpatient therapists including regular individual and group supervision sessions. Reviews and approves clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes completed by supervised staff. Provides direct clinical services to a limited number of clients to maintain clinical skills and assist with center caseload demands. Ensure all supervised staff maintain compliance with DMH standards and agency policies. Maintains client confidentiality and ensures all supervised staff adhere to confidentiality requirements. Monitors service delivery metrics and assists Adult Services Director with program evaluation and quality improvement. Reviews and approves service logs and ensures timely submission according to agency policy. Assists with the PA (Prior Authorization) submission process and ensures compliance with insurance requirements. Facilitates and participates in clinical staffing meetings for the Adult Outpatient team. Provides input to Adult Services Director regarding staff performance evaluations. Assists Adult Services Director with program development initiatives. Coordinates with other departments to ensure integrated service delivery. Participates in interagency collaboration for the provision of client services when assigned. Serves as lead or back-up emergency on-call person when necessary. Completes additional administrative duties as assigned by Adult Services Director.

Education & Qualification Requirements

Master's degree or Doctorate in behavioral science or related field. Current independent clinical licensure in the State of Mississippi. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with adults with serious mental illness (SMI) required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
