NOVA Career Institute is a growing, career school in El Paso that helps adults step into in?demand healthcare roles through short, hands?on training programs (including phlebotomy, medical assisting, and medical billing & coding).
We are small, fast?moving, and building for the long term. This is an opportunity to get in early, help shape the admissions function, and grow with the school as we expand programs and, in the future, additional campuses.
Role Overview
As an Admissions Representative, you are the first point of contact for many of our prospective students. Your job is to:
Respond quickly to new inquiries
Guide them through an in?person visit
Help them decide whether one of our programs is the right fit
Support them from first contact to first day of class
This is a full?time, on?site, phone?heavy and people?focused role with clear metrics and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Call, text, and email new inquiries to schedule campus visits and admissions appointments
Conduct in?person tours and admissions interviews in a clear, honest, and compliant way
Explain our programs, schedules, and admissions requirements
Follow a structured admissions process from first contact through enrollment and class start
Maintain accurate notes and follow?ups in our CRM system (training provided)
Proactively follow up with no?shows and "thinking about it" prospects
Hit weekly and monthly targets for outreach, appointments, show rates, and student starts
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in admissions for a private career school, technical school, or for?profit college strongly preferred
Proven track record of hitting or exceeding monthly enrollment or start goals (be ready to talk numbers)
Comfortable making a high volume of calls and having direct, adult conversations about time, money, and commitment
Organized, reliable, and coachable with strong follow?through
Competitive in a healthy way - you like to win and improve
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Genuine interest in helping adults change careers and step into healthcare

Primarily weekdays, with occasional evenings or Saturdays based on student demand and class schedules
