Job Description


Position Summary: Implement recruitment and admissions initiatives and activities for the Department of Film and Television programs for prospective students to meet specific enrollment goals that aim to bring in a high-quality and diverse student body. Maintains relationships with all departments/employees involved in the admissions process. Develops public presentations designed to promote the programs and makes public events presentations. Advises parents and applicants about admissions and artistic review process. Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor\'s Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years of admissions and recruitment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years Related experience in an academic or non-profit/arts environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to promote Kanbar Film & Television and to work independently as well as part of a team. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations and/or people. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures to a diverse population at all levels. Knowledge of standard office software including zoom.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience managing events
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC\'s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $61,200.00 to USD $74,800.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate\'s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
