Description of Work
This position serves as a billing reimbursement specialist for the Sandhills CDSA. This position involves a variety of administrative functions that allow the CDSA to maximize agency revenues through reimbursement for services. This position provides administrative and clinical support to the CDSA staff by performing such duties as date entry and billing, word processing forms and letters, managing client records, and office equipment operations. This position will interact with parents, other professional and business personnel and medical and specialized therapists both in person and by phone.

Management Preferences:
Ability to complete HFCA 1500 for medical billing
Ability to bill medical services manually and electronically.
Ability to verify patients' insurance coverage with outside agencies.
Ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information.
Ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups.
Minimum Education and Experience
