Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience in administrative services.



EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:



Operate as the Lake Charles Clinic Centralized Scheduler working closely with direct service providers, including but not limited to, Psychiatrist, APRN's, Medical Psychologist, Physician, Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, PAP Specialist, Peer Support Specialist, any Licensed Behavioral Health professional as well as communicating proactively status of all appointments. Scheduling clients served by Imperial Calcasieu Human Services Authority and all direct care service providers, including but not limited to assessments, psychiatric evaluations, individual and group therapy, addendums, treatment plans, addictions severity index (ASI) and exit plans, rescheduling appointments, keeping open slots filled, scheduling direct and indirect service times and medication appointments. Responsible for maintaining schedules of group rooms and agency vehicles. Maintain client contact information by regularly inquiring about current phone number, address and whether staff can leave a message at that number. Maintains a person-centered, recovery orientation to clients regarding appointments, attentive to client engagement, managing call-back list, transferring calls, e-mailing phone messages to staff members, entering, updating electronic health records calendar to reflect appointments and changes, maintaining client contact database, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately regarding scheduling. Supplying callers and visitors with needed information relating to Imperial Calcasieu Human Services Authority and miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Compensation

The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
