The incumbent is the first point of contact for the public after purchasing or renewing their commercial license(s). This position will assist the public with filling out forms and/or direct them to trip ticket trainings, form re-orders, general trip ticket/LDWF information. This position handles calls from the public throughout the day, ships & tracks orders, sorts mail, scans and verifies documents for the Trip Ticket program and other programs within the agency and handles all general office duties as needed. The Trip Ticket section has state and federal deadlines to meet throughout the year and the Administrative Coordinators play a very important role in meeting those deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Duties:
Receiving trip tickets and Monthly Submission Sheets in the mail and sorting them to prepare for the scanning process
Scanning trip tickets
Scanning Monthly Submission Sheets
Verifying scanned trip tickets
Assisting seafood and reptile/amphibian dealers at the front desk and on the phone with questions and trip ticket requests
Keeping office supplies stocked
Packaging and sending trip tickets and related forms, manuals and supplies to seafood dealers via FedEx and/or USPS
Assigning issued trip tickets to seafood and reptile/amphibian dealers in DMS and Access databases
Filing trip ticket requests
Preparing new dealer trip ticket packets
Preparing MSS packets
Sending out MSS packets to new/renewed dealers weekly
Other duties as assigned

Appointment Type
: Probational Appointment, Job Appointment, Detail to Special Duty, Promotion (open to all statewide classified and agency-wide permanent status employees)
Current permanent status classified state employees may be required to accept a Probational appointment if selected. If filled as a Job Appointment, there is a possibility that this position may be converted to a Probational Appointment should funding become available.
