Administrative Assistant/State Licensing Coordinator/Human Resources Coordinator North American Recovery has a career opportunity in our West Valley City office. We are hiring an individual who will be our Administrative Assistant, State Licensing Coordinator, and Human Resources Coordinator. This person will work closely with the company owner and our Senior and Junior Managers to assist with various administrative tasks, ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, and help with hiring, onboarding, and supporting new employees with Human Resources items. Experience in these areas is helpful but not necessary. We have a robust training program for this position, and our senior management team will work closely with the person we hire to train, support, and guide them through their tasks. Coordinate hiring and onboarding for new employees, as well as coordinating termination items when an employee leaves the company. Some of these tasks include:
Posting help-wanted positions.
Coordinate pre-employment screenings and assessments.
Complete background checks for new hires and current personnel
Onboard new employees
Maintain employee personnel files
Assist with other steps of other human resources tasks as needed or requested.
Assist with the onboarding of new employees, including
Conduct new employee orientation as requested, including review of employee handbook and benefits, I-9 verification, distribution and collection of applicable paperwork and forms.
Create and compile personnel files for new employees
Entering and maintaining employee records
Coordinate with employees on their time and attendance processing, and interface with ADPRun for payroll processing.
Accurately reconcile payroll before finalizing.
Establish and maintain positive, in-person working relationships with coworkers, management, and vendors
Coordinate the Employee security fob program.
Complete requested local, state, and federal administrative filings under the guidance of the Senior Management team, such as unemployment responses, and others as requested.
Assist with updates to the Employee Handbook.
Assist with the annual employee satisfaction survey and required yearly testing of FDCPA, state collection laws, anti-sexual harassment training and testing, and other annual training and/or testing topics as needed.
Maintain a good understanding and working knowledge of the Company's clients, products, departments, workflows, and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Work closely with all senior managers and the owner of the company to complete other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Research and resolve employee issues and questions with management

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or 2 years of equivalent real-world experience in a similar position
Income Pay will be based on education, experience, technical expertise, and overall ability to perform the job. The starting pay for this position is $25.00/hour. Based on the quality of work done and meeting specific performance standards, this position may be eligible for a $1.00/hour raise every six months until reaching a maximum pay rate of $28.00/hour.
