Assists the Director of Emergency Department and his/her support staff with any aspects that will enhance their efficiency. Responsible for general secretarial duties, as well as specialized projects. Coordinates the flow of information in and out of the office.

Extensive computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HBOC and internet.
Minimum of 60 WPM typing.

Ability to prioritize and be an independent thinker.
Must be detail-oriented.

Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
