Summary of Job Duties: The Admissions Analyst works under the supervision of the Director of Admissions and is responsible for contributing to the admission and enrollment of prospective students.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Assists in meeting the objectives and goals of the Enrollment Management Plan.
  • Performs initial assessments of applications daily and as directed
  • Processes admission documents as directed to determine admission eligibility.
  • Scans, uploads, and indexes admission documents into electronic filing system with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Sends correspondence to applicants regarding the admissions process and documents submitted using email, texting, phone calls, and mail.
  • Answers phones, transfers incoming calls, greets and directs students/visitors promptly and in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provides information, assistance, and clarification to prospective and current students concerning admissions requirements, processes, forms, etc.
  • Stays current on information in reference to dates, events, degrees, and personnel changes by staying familiar with personnel and UACCM\xe2\x80\x99s Website.
  • Ensures security, confidentiality, and safety of student records, in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
  • Serves as primary point person for campus postal services and preparing outgoing mail daily. Manages bulk postal operations and stays current on policies and changes within the postal services.
  • Downloads/processes ACCUPLACER scores (daily).
  • Develops and performs quality checks on storage of student data to ensure accuracy and manage duplicates.
  • Develops and maintains the Admissions Procedures Manual for the duties related to this position.
  • Serves as backup for the front desk in the Admissions Office.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business or related area

Job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these minimum qualifications upon approval of the Chancellor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in college student personnel, educational administration, business administration, education, or a related field

Two years of experience in a related area

Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to individuals and large groups.

Proficient in the use of computer software and applications, such as but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Knowledge of office management principles, methods, and procedures.

Able to perform basic research, analyze information and prepare reports in a logical and informative manner.

Able to recognize and solve problems, organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and be flexible and accepting of change.

Able to work independently and cooperatively with a team to achieve the mission/goal.

Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs.

Able to move about freely and lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Salary Information: Salary Range: $27,000 to $30,000
