Job Description
Activities Assistant:
Partime/Fulltime/ EOW
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have a passion to work with the Residents to enhance their quality of life. Must be a Team Player! Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to all residents. Assists residents with outside activities and hobbies. Assists residents with arts and crafts activities. Assists residents with group activities. Prints and distributes monthly activities calendar. Completes Activities Participation Records. Complete initial Activity Assessments and Quarterly Progress Notes. Every other weekend - flexible hours
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Ability to supervise group recreational activities. Prior experience in a nursing home preferred.
