Job Description

Mallory Alexander International Logistics, a global third-party logistics company (3PL) headquartered in Memphis, TN has an immediate opening for a Logistics Professional to join our team!


In this role, the Account Specialist will be responsible for processing, tracking, and recording payments in an accurate and timely manner. You will play a key part in maintaining smooth financial operations and supporting strong relationships with our vendors and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Process employee expense reports and ensure proper GL coding, project or cost center allocation, and posting to the correct accounting period. Schedule approved reimbursements via payroll or accounts payable system Maintain up-to-date records of expense reports and payments for audit and reporting purposes Process payments via check, wire transfer, ACH, and credit card transactions Review and verify invoices and payment requests for proper documentation and approval Perform data entry of invoices and maintain accurate general ledger records Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts Obtain required signatures and prepare checks for disbursement Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues or discrepancies Support the AP team with other duties during peak periods or as assigned

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred Previous experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting preferred 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or expense processing Familiarity with expense management systems (e.g., Concur, Certify, etc.) Strong understanding of expense policies, tax treatment, and GL coding Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills Strong communication and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel CargoWise experience a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Team player with a proactive attitude
