Hiring for a 100% Remote AP Manager!

Contract-to-hire

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience required, along with seven or more total years total work experience in progressively responsible roles. Total experience includes at least four years experience managing a team of direct reports.
  • Significant experience with process improvement/efficiencies required.
  • Experience with reorganizing Accounts Payable departments/teams to increase efficiencies.
  • Advanced MS Excel required, including pivot tables and Vlookups.
  • Concur Invoice/Expense experience required.
  • Experience at a SOX-compliant company strongly preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes mortgage or other sales-specific industry experience.
  • Preferred experience with electronic payments.
  • Ability to combine attention to detail with a "big picture" outlook, in order to consistently balance the needs of both.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to guide interaction with all levels of staff, senior management, and external parties.
  • Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills required, with the ability to execute successfully in a deadline driven environment.
Description:
  • Provide direction to staff in resolving issues, and work with staff on using judgment in decision-making; as well as ensuring staff delivers excellent customer service.
  • Continually assess processes as well as structure/design of the team to create efficiencies in workflow and resources, and to minimize risk to the company; automate manual processes and enhance internal controls.
  • Continually evaluate responsibilities of staff and reorganize as needed to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Remain aware of recent technological advances in the Accounts Payable field and evaluate for use at the company.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of expense reimbursement reviews and approvals, and enforcement of policies.
  • Develop and support staff in using judgment to evaluate risk levels.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce disbursement, vendor management, expense reimbursement and corporate card policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, including IRS, RESPA, SOX, and internal company requirements.
  • Support the administration of the Company\'s corporate credit card program, including developing, maintaining and enforcing policies.
  • Conduct and coordinate training for branch and corporate employees on expense and invoice processes and policies.
  • Serve as key point of contact for external and internal examinations/audits as related to Accounts Payable audit requests, and prepare responses/findings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
