Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Analyst to become an essential part of a company\'s rapidly growing team. As the Accounts Payable Analyst, your duties will include matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. Your responsibilities in this role

- Complete full-cycle A/P

- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

- Provide support during internal and external audits

- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

- Execute additional tasks as needed

- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

-Assist with month end close duties

Requirements

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Competent with spreadsheets and databases

- 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

- Highly organized and self-motivated

- Foundational knowledge in Journal Entry

- AP Aging Reports experience required

- Experience with Journal Entry Preparation

- General familiarity with cash reconciliations

- Quality experience with account reconciliation

- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

- Practical knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation

- Well-founded grasp of bank reconciliations

- Deep understanding of journal entries
