Accounts Payable Admin

Our corporate team at Bretz RV & Marine is looking for an Accounting Administrator focused in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and related accounting duties.

To be successful in this position you will need: strong organizational and time management skills, top-notch communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, accountability for your work, flexibility with duties as the need arises, a calm, methodical working style, and most importantly problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Processing and reconciling accounts payable & accounts receivable
• Maintain vendor records and track outstanding obligations by the due date
• Issue checks in payment for merchandise purchases, supplies, services, etc.
• Research and correct account discrepancies
• Address questions/issues with vendors and other company personnel
• Keeping effective and open communication with the controller and other lead personnel
• Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and closing entries

Education and Experience

• Those with a high school diploma or GED
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Meet) applications, as well as industry-specific databases/software
• Comfortable using automated workflow management systems
• Ability to work as a part of a cohesive team and as a self-directed individual
• Two years of accounting experience preferred
• An associate\xe2\x80\x99s or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance, or management is a plus but not required

Compensation

$35,000 - $45,000 annual compensation (DOE)

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00 pm
• Full-time

About Our Dealership

Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. Searching for a new camping trailer turned into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers.

Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company.
