What would you be helping us with? - Entering daily transactions for all our clients using several software platforms - Responding to requests from clients on general accounting needs (i.e. running reports, responding to requests, etc.) - Prepare reconciliations (i.e. bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, general ledger accounts, etc.) - Preparing and filing Sales Tax Returns - Processing Payroll - Processing Bill Pay - Perform self-review to ensure that accounting is accurate - Prepare financial statements and provide overview to client - Establish, document, and evaluate internal processes for the best client experience. - Manage prospective and current client correspondence - Assist in building our brand, our firm and our client base through referrals, social media, lead generation, etc. - Will need to deliver client information to our tax team Qualifications - Be comfortable working autonomously with little guidance at times - Have impeccable communication skills - Capable problem solver - Energized by working with a large variety of companies - Experience in Payroll Processing, 1099 Preparation, Sales Tax - Experience with Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, Gusto Payroll, QB Payroll, POS systems such as Stripe, Clover, Shopify - Comfortable using software.
