Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee the coordination of audits and work with auditors to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with asset management teams to provide financial insights and support investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, practices, and procedures that align with industry standards.
• Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and ensure our practices remain in compliance.
• Provide guidance on financial strategies and optimization to support business objectives.
• Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on commercial real estate investment management.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and industry-specific regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
