Are you ready to make an impact? West Monroe is looking for a talented and energetic Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable Lead to join our growing Accounting & Finance team. This position will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable (\xe2\x80\x9cAP\xe2\x80\x9d) Team and daily AP operations, with a focus on increasing the efficiency of AP processes, ensuring that all payable transactions are accurately processed, and providing key performance indicators around company spend. The manager will also assist with cash management, forecasting & analysis, banking administration and relationship management with key vendors. Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall Accounts Payable processes and team to ensure daily transactions are processed accurately and on time
  • Review and approval of month end accounts payable close processes and reporting completed by accountants
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to determine proper coding of transactions for accurate accounting and application of amounts to the general ledger; generate multiple reports for the accounting department and various other departments
  • Recommend changes in methods, processes, or procedures to improve the efficiency of the AP function
  • Partner with the Treasury management team to oversee the processing of accounts payable payments, cash reporting & forecasting to senior management
  • Oversight for timely resolution on payment processing and support of management of vendor relationships, including vendor banking information, W9 administration and proper compliance with 1099 reporting
  • Participate in finance functional meetings and coordinate on projects and reporting efforts with other Accounting and Finance team members
  • Collaborate and assist Senior Management on special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Partner with accounting, payroll, benefits, accounts receivable, tax, and legal departments
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred, Treasury Management experience a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of GL ledger structure, accounting interface to ledger, management principles and Accounts Payable principles
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Workday and Chrome River experience a plus but not a requirement
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
