Can handle student identity conversion Summary of Essential Job Functions \xc2\xb7 Ensure exceptional customer service by setting a positive example and provides our guests with the best in service, courtesy, and care by responding promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints to ensure overall satisfaction. \xc2\xb7 Foster strong working relationships within Guest Services and, equally important, with other departments by communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction, assigning and instructing associates in work details. Share any relevant information with corresponding departments to ensure a successful outcome daily. * Lead and manage night audit staff, uphold hotel standard finance operational proceedures, and activities to accommodate guests/clients and maximize revenue. * Handle cash, make the change and balance an assigned house bank. Accept and record vouchers, traveler checks, and other forms of payment - post charges to guest rooms and house accounts. * Manage dispatch/guest hotline calls as required to accommodate guests in a timely manner. * As necessary, step into the operating department and delegate or physically participate in duties essential to expediting problems and delays most effectively. Utilize computer-system to access and input information. o Field guest complaints and conduct thorough research to develop the most effective solution and negotiate results while providing the guest options for their satisfaction. o Verify and control payment and high balances, audit operating systems and compile and prepare financial reports, including rate and availability calendar. Implement and monitor all corporate and brand marketing programs. Assists guests with check-in and out process or related guest service activity. o Improves service performance via performance reviews, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates. When appropriate, to ensure standards are met, deficiencies are corrected, and provide or assign associates with additional training when needed. o Maintain workplace safety and corporate compliance by taking proactive measures, enforcing Hotel safety standards. \xc2\xb7 Assist with reviewing current standards and introducing hotel-wide changes such as those affecting revenue to ensure the hotel is in compliance. Maintain and review computerized records for budgeting and forecasting department expenses and make decisions based on information to ensure maximum profitability. \xc2\xb7 Provide instruction and guidance for guest\'s and associate\'s safety in fire or other emergencies. \xc2\xb7 Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc., to Safety/Security Department. \xc2\xb7 Track monthly recurring expense and oversee monthly accrual process. \xc2\xb7 Ensure prompt payments received from external renters and sales groups. \xc2\xb7 Oversee Accounts Receivable and prepare weekly credit reports. \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with applicable state & federal laws, as well as local, ownership, and Corporate SOP\xe2\x80\x99s. \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned. Supervises the financial department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, auditing, general accounting, and cashiers. Plans and implements procedures and systems. Prepares financial analysis of operations. Maintain file of Sales/GM, insurance policies, tax exemptions, expenses, payroll, etc. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
