Job Summary

• The Accountant III is responsible for performance of assigned financial reporting, general accounting, and financial audits for Avera Health Insurance Division (AHID).
• The Accountant works closely with the Director \xe2\x80\x93 Financial Reporting and others as necessary to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting of financial information.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in accounting/finance, healthcare administration, or healthcare related field is required.
• Master\'s degree and/or CPA is preferred.
• 7 years of accounting experience required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• CPA is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional weekend; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
