We are looking for an inquisitive Accountant II with strong verbal and written communication skills to join our team. This is a highly visible position that will be responsible for the calculation and analysis of Bad Debt. Some overtime may be required. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Prepare general ledger entries and reconciliations as required for a timely month-end close.
• Prepare and present balance sheet and income statement results and associated analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including resolution of outstanding items.
• Coordinate and prepare quarterly accounts receivable analysis.
• Assist in coordination of the internal and external audit process.
• Assist in the documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Assist with special projects.

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate\'s primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
Do You Have:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• General ledger experience.
• Intermediate understanding of accounting theory and basic knowledge of accounting functions and internal controls around Accounts Receivables, Bad Debt, and Write-offs.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and ability to research and resolve accounting application.
• Must be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitments to excellence and high standards.

Even Better:

• Experience in JD Edwards and Strategy is desirable.
• Experience with Data360 a plus.
• SQL experience.

Minimum Requirements: College degree in Accounting and/or Finance and 3-5 years professional level experience; or 7 years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
