WVRC Media Summersville has a full-time position available for a . This opportunity includes medical insurance, 401K, and vacation time. Prior media sales experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

:

Provide advertising solutions and marketing strategies for local businesses.

Present the products and services of WVRC Media, including audio, digital, and video

Identify prospective business opportunities with new and existing customers

Establish and maintain communication with customers to ensure strong customer relations

Continually increase knowledge and understanding of marketing tools, techniques, and strategies

Requirements:

Understanding of fundamental marketing and advertising principles

Prior sales experience in sales and/or media is preferred, but not required

Must have reliable transportation

Present and communicate in a highly professional manner

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Need to be organized with strong time management skills

Possess proven analytical problem-solving solutions for the customer and the company

Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications

Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills

Self-Motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals

Other Qualifications

Think creatively and generate creative ideas

Pay close attention to detail

Work diligently and effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines

Possess confidence and determination to pursue leads, overcome obstacles, and secure business
