About the Role
We're seeking an ambitious, self-driven Account Executive (Hunter) to drive new business growth across Southern Illinois. This role focuses on acquiring new clients for our Managed IT Support, VoIP, and Cloud solutions.
You'll be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new contracts with businesses that value reliable IT support, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new business opportunities within Southern Illinois (south of I-64 and along the I-57 corridor to Mt. Vernon).
Build relationships with business owners, executives, and IT decision-makers.
Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and pain points.
Propose technology solutions including Managed Support, VoIP, Virtual Desktop Hosting, Microsoft 365, and Hardware as a Service.
Prepare proposals and work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
Maintain accurate records in ConnectWise Manage.
Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
3+ years of outside B2B sales experience (MSP or technology sales preferred).
Strong understanding of IT services, cybersecurity, or telecommunications.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proven record of prospecting and closing new business.
Highly organized and self-motivated.
Compensation
Base Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 (DOE).
Commission: Uncapped potential, paid on new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and initial project sales.
Target OTE: $100,000 - $140,000+ annually with strong performance.
