Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, provides tutorial services in the assigned subject/content area, serving as a peer-mentor. Establishes social media communications for students assigned to the respective tutor, encouraging involvement in campus-based activities, modeling resilient and confident academic behaviors, and based on student\'s interests. Recommends special events and/or workshop topics.

We are seeking to fill eight (8) vacancies.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in English from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year teaching and/or tutoring experience preferred.

Additional Comments

College students and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. This engagement is scheduled for thirty (30) hours per month for eight (8) months with duration and hours subject to change.
