Job Description

Lloyd's Barbeque (a subsidiary of Hormel Corporation) is looking for General Workers at our Mendota Heights facility. Pay for the position starts at $23.50 per hour. The Sanitation Worker's task include:

Abiding by all Lloyd's Barbeque plant safety rules Wearing all required PPE Being trained in the use of many different chemicals Using a hose to clean mechanical equipment Working overnight shifts Completing all necessary paperwork correctly and in a timely manner Operating an electric Pallet Jack (in-house training provided) Relieving other Lloyd's BBQ plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided if relieving a higher pay grade position) Following good manufacturing practices (GMP's) Perform any and all duties (washroom and production) as assigned by 1st line supervisor.

Requirements of the position include:

Ability to work safely 18 years of age or older Ability to bend and turn at the waist, squat, reach overhead Lift up to 50 lbs Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (after being provided training)
Work in a refrigerated environment (35 - 45 degrees) Good communication skills Handle a variety of meat products (including pork)
