Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and maintenance for a variety of animals in the zoo
- Follow established protocols for feeding, cleaning, and enrichment activities
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff
- Assist with animal handling and restraint when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of animal observations, medical treatments, and other relevant information
- Participate in the development and implementation of animal care plans
- Collaborate with other zoo staff to ensure the overall well-being of the animals

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of animal care practices and principles
- Experience in administering medications to animals
- Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely
- Understanding of environmental laws and regulations related to animal care
- Experience in pet care or gardening is a plus
