Allen Turf and Landscaping, Inc. is a commercial landscaping company and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Zero Turn Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a zero turn mower in a solar panel site environment. Due to the extreme danger of working in a solar panel site environment the ideal client must have the ability to pay attention to details, remain focused and adhere to all safety standards of Georgia Power and Allen Turf and Landscaping, Inc. The job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Mowing in between and underneath solar panels, open areas inside panel gate, right-of-ways roadside, and mowing in rough and inclined areas. Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of your mower which includes ensuring mower is properly lubricated as well as monitoring hours of usage of mower. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Must be able to pass background check, random drug screens and provide proof of valid identification. Ability to travel overnight to fulfill contractual agreement for the duration of 2-3 days each week during the contract period. Must present at each job site with the required PPE equipment, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills:

Must have 2-3 years of zero turn mower experience. Must have the basic knowledge of operating weed-eaters, hedge trimmers, stick edger, chain saws. Commercial landscaping experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
