Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and caring Youth Sports Coach to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our young members aged 3-9 while facilitating success during gamedays. As a Youth Sports Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents while developing your skills in childcare and youth development.
Responsibilities
- Implement recreational programs for children and adolescents on gameday
- Supervise and mentor youth participants in instructional and recreational T-ball and Coach Pitch
- Teach and promote sports fundamentals and sportsmanship
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a fun and safe environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents of various ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
Skills
- General knowledge of baseball fundamentals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
